Buses are the most commonly used mode of transport in Canadian cities. They were first introduced in the city of Toronto. Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary, and Ottawa have underground Rapid Transit Systems. These trains are for commuters who travel from the periphery of the city to the main center.

• The University has a beautiful campus that has well-maintained buildings, green spaces, and parking areas.

• The library of the university holds a unique collection of printed and electronic resources such as books, articles, dictionaries, guide books, e-journals, and databases. These resources are open for reference by both the faculty and students for teaching and research purposes.

• The university extends counseling services and spiritual guidance to those students who are in need. The conveniences featured on the Canadian Mennonite University Campus include a bookstore, wellness center, and press facility.

• Student Affairs of the university has offices that cater to the needs of the students including leadership development, public service, career exploration, and community engagement.

• The Student Council of the university is the exclusive student organization that represents all students and the campus stretches up to 43 acres of land.

• The university is represented by the CMU Blazers in soccer and basketball. The teams of the university play in the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference which is formerly the Central Plains Athletic Conference.

•  The University provides quick access to the cafeteria, the gym, the chapel, and the Assiniboine forest. The students are close to everything they need to thrive while being at the university.

• Accessibility Services of the university strives to provide a supportive learning environment for academically qualified students with certain disabilities. The university is committed to helping the students succeed in their university studies and is also developing resources to provide a supportive environment for students with disabilities

There are on-campus housing options including shared dormitory rooms, apartments, and single dorm rooms in different buildings which are close to a full-service dining hall. The 

Residence buildings of the university include the Poettker Hall and Katherine Friesen Apartments.
