- Teresa Weatherspoon: A former professional basketball player and coach, Weatherspoon is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. She played for the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters from 1988 to 1991 and led the team to three national championships.
- Ryan Allen: An NFL punter for the New England Patriots, Allen has played in Super Bowl LIII and Super Bowl LVII. He played college football at Louisiana Tech from 2010 to 2013.
- Bill Doss: A musician and record producer, Doss was a member of the alternative rock band The Olivia Tremor Control. He also released several solo albums. Doss graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1990 with a degree in English.
- Scotty Robertson: A former professional baseball player, Robertson played in Major League Baseball for the New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, and Cincinnati Reds. He graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1987 with a degree in business administration.
- John E. Allen, Jr.: A businessman and politician, Allen served as the 47th Lieutenant Governor of Louisiana from 1992 to 2004. He is currently the president and CEO of the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association. Allen graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1970 with a degree in petroleum engineering.
