The University of Tulsa has a distinguished history of alumni who have achieved great things in their respective fields. Here are just a few of the many notable alumni of TU:

• Rilla Askew: Novelist and short story author. Her books have been nominated for the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Pulitzer Prize.
• Louis W. XIV: Former CEO of Phillips Petroleum. He was also chairman of the board of directors of the American Petroleum Institute.
• Sara Berner: Film, television, and radio actress and distinguished voice artist. She was the voice of Minnie Mouse for many years.
• Ted Berrigan: Poet associated with the New York School movement.
• Becky Dixon: Television broadcaster. She is currently the host of the morning news show "Good Day Oklahoma" on Fox 25.
