• The students applying to the university for undergraduate courses should have their class 12th mark sheet during admission
• The completed application and registration form with the fee is required
• The applicant has to submit an essay on the given question 'What experiences/education have you had that make you want to pursue this certification? What do you hope to do after completing this program and attaining your TESL Certificate?'
• For non-native speakers of English, official documentation proving that they have met the language criteria should be submitted 
• An academic or professional reference letter is also required to be submitted.

There are a few eligibility criteria essential depending on the course selected. The applicant first needs to choose from their 'applicant type' to know what they require for their admission. The 'applicant types' provided by the University are High School (Manitoba), High School (Out of Province), Audit, Accelerated, Concurrent, Continuing, Exchange, Graduate, Homeschooled, International, Mature, Mature Access, Second Degree, Transfer, and Visiting.

 The university does not demand SAT/ACT scores from current high school students except for  homeschooled students. An English Language Test needs to be undertaken for admission by non-native speakers of English.
